Jarpa: Java Packaging for Flash Lite Developers

Here is the big news from Felipe, Jarpa packaging environment for Flash Lite developer. Most of the effort goes to Felipe who did a great job on figuring out the core code!! So, Felipe, great work!!!

Basically you can create a Jar file to install Flash Lite content. It’s a great tool, since now Flash Lite developers will be able to install Flash Lite content on different platforms such as S60, S40, Sony Ericsson and other OEM.

It’s an Open Source project so everyone is welcome to contribute and make the tool better!! So if you are interested please join the project.

There will be more testing needed for other platforms, so developers are welcome with ideas and testing to improve the tool!!

I have developed application using Capuchin on SonyEricson device and i would like to port same application on Nokia device. i found your article on nokia forum and looks like this may work for my application.

In your sample program, you were able to send one string to flash file. Is this possible communication between flash and java in JARPA can use similar Capuchin concept events and data request.
