The Mobile Premier Awards are the largest open and global startup competition in the mobile industry. Participation to these awards is free and open to any startup with a mobile angle. It will all lead to the Mobile Premier Awards event to take place in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress.

At Mobile World Congress, Nokia announced a new service to sell content directly to mobile phones called Publish on OVI. Revenue split is 70/30 which seems to be the industry trend right now. Another cool news from the Mobile World Congress was that Adobe launched The Flash Lite Developer Challange! A contest for Flash Lite content with $100000 total prizes. Deadline is May 31st.

At Mobile World Congress, Adobe and Nokia announced a $10 million fund for sponsoring content creation around the Open Screen Project.
