1Billion app downloads over the Holidays!

Via EngadgetMobile, looks like mobile application usage is exploding since over the holidays there were more than 1 Billion downloads on the various mobile application stores.
These are impressive numbers but also pose a challange for developers. On one side is a great opportunity but on the other is a very difficult business to be in.

RIM new BlackBerry OS for Smartphones and Tablets with Flash and AIR support

Via Mashble, today RIM announced their new BlackBerry OS, QNX, for Smartphones and Tablets.
It will support both Flash and AIR for these devices. Looks like AIR Mobile reach is increasing by the day! My only issue is their certification/submission problem, it’s a mess ! Please fix it, make it simple like other apps store!
