Maps app for iOS, Google Maps or Nokia Here ?

Google finally released their Map application for iOS devices few days ago. Actually only for iPhone, leaving iPad out, why?

Nokia launched their mobile map application, Here, for other mobile platforms but also launched the Nokia Here MH5: Nokia Maps Framework for Mobile HTML5.

There is a complete documentation for the APIs but also couple of MH5 plans if you want to use in your mobile application development.

Nokia Suite 3.6.11 Beta available, where is OSX support?

Via SymbianTweet, the Nokia Suite 3.6.11 Beta is available for download but still no support for Mac users. To get the update just go to the update section of Nokia Suite.

Windows Phone 8 announced

Via Endgadget, Microsoft announced Windows Phone 8. Looks like it will support HD screen/video, nfc, multicore and so on, but current Nokia devices will not receive an upgrade since harware requirements are different. Nokia Drive will be used as navigation system.


Nokia cutting 10000 jobs!

This is really a bad news for Nokia which annoounced 10000 jobs cuts. When you start to cut this much position it means that the company is really in trouble.
