Nokia Q2 results released

Via AllAboutSymbian, Nokia released their Q2 financial results and quite good. In terms of phones sold, 2 million E-series and 9 millions N-series were sold. Which means 11 millions Flash Lite enabled phones in one quarter!! This not counting the Series 40 mass market mobile phone sales.
Also 1.5 millions Nokia N95 were sold !

Nokia Q1 earnings

Here are the Nokia Q1 earnings. Seems they are doing pretty well and mobile phones shipment are up from last year (91 millions). The Nseries sold 8 millions units and the N95 is doing really well. Plus other phones sales are doing good. So there are many of Flash Lite enabled phones sold !!

Via AllAboutSymbian, Nokia World is in few days and Nokia setup a blog to cover the event. Pretty cool idea. They also setup a couple of Widsets so that you can follow the posts using your mobile phone.

Nokia PC Suite update

Via Darla, there is a new version of Nokia PC Suite available for download.

100 Million Symbian phones sold

Symbian passed the 100 Million mobile phone sold mark. This is an impressive achievement.

How many of those are Flash Lite enabled? I am guessing more then 10%.

Nokia World 2006 and Flash Lite

The Nokia World 2006 is coming up at the end of this month. Adobe will be there demoing Flash Lite and FlashCast, Foreca will be there with the award-winning FlashWeather.

Also MEF Mobile Entertainment Factory will be there showing some of their Flash Lite content such as wallpapers and games.

Flash Lite 1.1 game: Asteroidz

Carlo created a Flash Lite 1.1 game Asteroidz. This is one of the greatest old school game.

Great job!! Carlo tested on Series 60 but it should work on Series 40. If someone wants to give feedback it would be great.
