Via Maemo Freak, there is a new Firefox Mobile RC3 release for the Nokia N900 and it looks like Flash is disabled.
“The Adobe Flash plugin used on many sites degraded the performance of the browser to the point where it didn’t meet Mozilla’s standards.”
Maybe they need to look into using Flash 10.1 or Flash Lite 3.1?

I’ve heard other Adobe staffers are checking in with Mozilla folks on this, but it’s plausible… the Nokia Internet Tablet 700 series and higher have included a Nokia-modified version of a Player for Linux profile, but it was apparently built off of desktop code, not yet modified for mobile performance. (I’ve used an N700 for years — it works, but isn’t faster than a Mac.)
Nokia is a significant partner in the Open Screen Project, and has access to the mobile-friendly 10.1 codebase. Maybe we’ll hear some more by Mobile World Congress in mid-February…?
