What: The first annual Getties Award
Why it’s cool: This is the first cross platform mobile app award program of its kind
Who: The Getties Award is put on by GetJar, the world’s second largest app store by downloads, after Apple. GetJar is also the world’s largest cross-platform app store providing over 67,000 free apps and supporting over 2,000 handsets in 200 countries.
Where: The Getties will be held in conjunction with MobileBeat in San Francisco.
When:
- Nominations start – Tuesday, May 18, 2010
- Nominations end – June 25
- Finalists notified / Voting starts – July 2nd
- Voting ends – July 9th
- Winners are announced at a gala event on the evening of July 12th, 2010
