It’s sometime that I think about this new project and now I can announce it, it’s a new blog dedicated to Nokia mobile phones and Flash Lite: FlashLite4Nokia.com.

Why? Well I am a big fan of information and when is not organized it not useful. So I decide to collect all the information about Flash Lite enabled Nokia mobile phones in one place: FlashLite4Nokia.com

I am still in the process of filling the information, so it would be great to have feedback and comments. If you have a blog please to this new resource and I hope it will become a one stop shop for Nokia and Flash Lite infos.

    Hi Alessandro,

First of all I want to say that I am a complete ignorant about FlashLite, but I am a FlashDesigner (more graphic than ActionScript programer) but very enthusiastic and with a lot of energy to learn.

I have seen your work, posts, blogs, articles and geenral products, and I am really impress about your energy, enthusiasm and love for what you do about FlashLite and general mobile communications

I have this question many many questions but before that i would like to have your personal advice in order to start working and learning flashLite…

where do you think is better to start?, what kind of tutorials?, it is necesary to learn FlashLite1.1, and then the others, in order to develop products that can have a broader target groups (i mean old mobiles with only flashLite1.1)

What i want to do are forms, not games, not photos not video(at least for the moment), just nice, eyecatching forms, so in order to do this flashLite1.1 is enough? what can you suggest me?

thanks, and again congratulations for all your work

    Ciao Alejandro,

nice to meet you and thanks a lot for the compliments!
First, I suggest you to join the Boston Adobe Mobile and Devices User Group, http://www.flashmobilegroup.org. It’s open to anyone from all around the world with currently more then 530 members. great resource for exchanging ideas. Also subscribe to the Yahoo Flash Lite User Group, it’s a public group.
One thing that is necessary to undestand is that Flash Lite 1.1 won’t go away since there are millions of handsets with that player. Mobile is very different from the Web. You can begin by looking at tutorials. I have a list here:

Also there is a book and a DVD on FL development, so those a great starting point.
