Via Spaziocellulare, there is a new firmware 30.0.018 update for the Nokia N95 8Gb on the way. Looks like there are some improvement to Flash Lite, “Baseline update for Flash Lite 3 (improved viewing of sites like YouTube)”.
Hopefully they removed the security feature from the standalone player!

Well are there any flaws ? or any errors or something after the update ? is it really secure and safe to update my software? . I have currently V15.0.015 on my N95 8GB.
This morning I upgrade my N95 8GB firmware to V 30.0.018.
Upgrade was done successfully, but after that I discovered two main problems with my phone. First of all, when try to use VOICE TAG(by holding camera key) my phone restarts. other problem is in camera, when you capture movie, it stalls every second and you can’t use it in fact.
Please help me if you have any idea about these.

One of the problem after upgrading to the new version of Nokia’s software is that communication with memory card becomes slow (i.e. creating videos). The thing you should do is to format memory card, and everything should be back to normal. I read this some time ago in some forum and helped me last time I upgraded software. Of course, it is pain in th *ss to install all applications again, so I’ll think twice before upload my v20 version of software
the nokia site connection get disconnected all the time i start to update my phone.
After upgrading to V. 30 the wifi get disconnected very often. Fring wont connect at all. very dissapointed with the upgrade, want to go back to old version, anyone knows how to do it?
Am I the only one who cannot see the pictures you have taken in the gallery because it has been saved on the memory card? Which means I have to open the picturen through file handling…
Also I cannot chose a song, stored on the memory card, as an alarm…
All of this happened when I installed V30..0.018 :/
Anyone who has an ides how to solve those problems…
you shuold try changing your product code to one that does not have the v 30 update, then try updating the software with the nokia software updater
