this is really cool & is a really a good idea, I have add it into the “up2U” and the streaming effect is very nice indeed .

if you have installed “up2U” you can check it out on the tool section!

I am not 100% sure but I think Windows Mobile OS does not support 3gp files.
Can you confirm this?

Ok.. I was entering the URL incorrectly. Using the above link: /?client=ytdemo
Works on IE on Windows Mobile 5.

When clicking on the rtsp link, it opens Windows Media but I get an unknown error: 0×8007274D has occurred.
I’ve googled this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q250517/
But it doesn’t help me that much. Anyone got it working correctly?

I’ve tried accessing the m.youtube.com on my WM5 Internet Explorer and I get redirected to m.youtube.com/blocked
On my Desktop computer the site works in Firefox but on IE… I get redirected to /blocked
There’s some user_agent detection going on there. I’ll try installing Opera later and have a test.

If you are getting the error message about the error preparing video, then a couple of things that you can try are: make sure to uncheck “Bundle source in SWF for mobile and devices” option from your action script variable for the video eg. theVideo.play(”rtsp url to video goes here.3gp”). Also, try different access points. For example, I get that error when using the cingular internet access point, but it works when using the internet gprs access point.

on FL2 on the IDE works but not on the phone. Their streaming server settings are not optimal.
I thought about scrapping the source of the site, just do not have time now. Let me know what you come up with, seam pretty simple!

That’s so cool. It’s throwing timeout thingy on my Nokia N90.

What about scrapping m.youtube.com and sending entire data (playlist, thumbnial, reviews etc) to FlashLite client over HTTP.

You have already confirmed, video plays from FlashLite 2.0 app…

A simple frontend? if I get sometime tonight, I am gonna try
